128 Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.

2 For thou shalt eat the labor of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.

5 The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.  (KJV)

Our Father,

We are truly thankful to you for the many blessings that you have given us and our nation. You have blessed us with prosperity in the past and have placed us among the leading nations of the world.

For hundreds of years our people have respected and honored you O Lord and your Word.  Now in this generation that is changing and those of us who are believers are concerned that all of the blessings and prosperity that we have received may begin to dry up and that the hedge you placed around our nation will no longer be there to protect our people,  especially the scoffers in our land. Fortunately according to your Word, you will continue to bless the believers who respect you and your teaching.

We cry to you for revival in our land. We ask for your Spirit to hover over this nation once more and bring another spiritual awakening among this people while there is yet day. Our people and nation are divided against one another and our cities are increasingly becoming violent. Our only hope is in you.

We cry out that you would raise up your church in this nation and give the pastors and leaders a vision for action and inspire the churches to be unified as never before. Let your Kingdom come down in our midst, let signs and wonders demonstrate the truth of your Word and let healings and miracles follow the teaching of your Gospel from one shore to the other.

Let peace be upon our land once more; the peace that only your Spirit can bring.

In Jesus name, Amen.
