Psalm of David
14 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.
5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.
7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. (KJV)
Our Father,
Today the whole world is caught between those who claim there is no God or creation and therefore there are no real rules guiding ones life and those who assert that Allah has instructed them to force everyone follow sharia law or die. Both look upon Christian believers as the opposition that must be overcome.
O Lord, do a new thing in our midst and bring blessing and healing upon a people who do not even believe you exist and give their lives real meaning and purpose. Among those who call you Allah, show them Your Son and grace in dreams and visions and call them forth from hate into your Kingdom of love, healing, and salvation.
Turn your face once more to those who call upon you in Jesus name and re-ignite their boring dead traditions and worship and let them experience the living God outside the pages of your Logos Word. Let the miracles of the Bible become a reality once more among the people who have faith in Jesus but are quickly losing hope and direction.
Bring forth a new day and let believers in your Son rejoice and let this generation experience freedom, healing, miracles, and a great harvest in the midst of an unbelieving culture and world.
