Beth

9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.

13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.  (KJV)

Our Father,

With our whole hearts we have sought you: O let us not wander from your commandments. We have hidden your Word in our hearts that we might not sin against you. Blessed are you and your Son Jesus: please continue to teach us your statutes.

Let your Holy Spirit guide us as we meditate on your Word and learn your ways. Let us learn to delight in your commandments and not in the ways of the world but learn to seek your Kingdom. Write your Word upon our hearts and by your Holy Spirit teach us and guide us daily toward our callings and destinies.

Let your church rise up in this critical hour; let your servants take your Word and Good News to every nation, people, and tongue. Let this nation, which use to honor you, find its way back and let a new awakening break out beginning with those of us who claim the name of your Son Jesus. Let us be good examples of how blessed it is to follow your teaching and let us bless the lives of those all around us in your name.

Let us bring love where there is hate, peace in the middle of strife, and blessing rather than condemnation. For you did not send your Son into the world to condemn but to bring salvation. Let us be agents of your Good News and love and demonstrate it to everyone we come in contact with daily.

In Jesus name, Amen.
