Proverbs 8:12-21

12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

18 Riches and honor are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures. (KJV)

Our Father,

We thank you for the counsel and sound wisdom that you give us through your Holy Spirit. We ask that you would continue to strengthen us through insights and knowledge of the truth that can come only through you. We ask that you would continue to lead us down the path of righteousness.

Please continue to guide us away from pride and arrogance and lead us away from the paths that the evil one wants us to travel down. We ask that you would continue to discipline us when we depart from the light given us and the path that you have inspired us to travel on.

We want to continue to diligently seek your face and we are thankful for the love that you have always shown us. By your Holy Spirit we continue to love you and your Son more and more every day. You are our inheritance and everything that we have of worth in this life and in the eternal life to come.

In Jesus Name , Amen.
