87 His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2 The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God.

4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
5 And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.
6 The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there.

7 As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee. (KJV)
Our Father,
Glorious things of thee are spoken, O city of God. O Jerusalem we pray now for peace to reign there among your people, let them dwell in safety and let the plans of the evil one to destroy it be thwarted by the prayers of the saints.
For your Son is coming again and his law will go forth from Zion; a river of healing and prosperity will flow from her hills and all the people of the earth will be blessed. But not so today, her people are in conflict and nations surrounding her want to destroy the heirs of Jacob and David and the adopted children of the Messiah who are called by his name.
Rise up O Lord and let peace and revival come to the land instead, and let her be protected by your miraculous hand like in ancient days. Let joy come forth from her hills and songs of praise be heard once more in her Valleys. Let your light spread forth across the land and drown out the darkness that the evil one and his minions have sponsored; let the plague of false religion and violence be swept away.
Let the trumpet sound and let her Messiah appear and save her people; Let your Son come in the clouds with the saints and let every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of Zion to your glory for ever and ever.
Until then, let your people take the good news of your Son and his coming Kingdom and city to all the world; every nation, people, and tongue. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
