Read the Psalm in your favorite version or in the following KJV and then join us in praying below:

81 Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

2 Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

4 For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.

5 This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

6 I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.

7 Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah.

Selah.

8 Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;

9 There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

10 I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

11 But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.

12 So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

13 Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!

14 I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

15 The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

16 He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.  (KJV)

Our Father,

You have blessed this nation on every turn; yet many times we have gone our own way without consideration to your counsel and your Word. Many today do not even believe in you or your Son.

But there are still millions in this country who still continue to praise your name and profess the name of your Son Jesus.

You have said in your Word that if we repent and seek your face that you would bless our people and our land once more; thousands are still seeking you daily and asking for your forgiveness. We are hoping that you will accept those prayers and bring blessings instead of judgment upon our nation.

But we will continue to praise your name regardless.

We seemed to have entered a new time and era on your Biblical calendar. A line was drawn in the sand that we could not see but it was manifested in a major pandemic that threatened our land and even your churches closed down.

But we continued to praise your name and look for blessings instead.

Now it seems like nature itself is in rebellion against us with severe climate problems. Plus there is war and rumors of war causing us to send our armies to far away places. Israel is surrounded by their enemies once more and antisemitism has raised its ugly head all around the world and even in our nation.

But we continue to praise your name and look for revival and a Great harvest in every nation.

Our enemies are trying to bring us down and destroy us on many different fronts. Some are even calling for home grown riots and Jihad in our cities against fellow Americans. Meanwhile, our politicians and leaders are divided as never before and looking out for their own positions of power.

But your people continue to praise your name in the midst of it all.

We cry unto you for this nation; for your Spirit to hover over our cities and unite our people as never before. The nation is on the verge of falling apart but that is the plan of the evil one. Rise up and stop his hordes from destroying our nation and bring revival and a new awakening to this people once more while there is yet day.

But we will continue to praise your name regardless.

Let your Kingdom come and let your will be demonstrated and confirmed through signs and wonders in our midst and among our people.
Let a new generation join us in praising your name now and forevermore.

In Jesus name, Amen.
