Read the Psalm in your favorite version or in the following KJV and then join us in praying below:

47 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

2 For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

5 God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.  (KJV)

Our Father,

We clap our hands and rejoice and we sing songs of everlasting joy; for you are on the throne and history is in the palms of your hands.

Nations rise and fall at your command; cultures come and civilizations die but your Word is still true and your Kingdom is coming to the earth. In that day your rule will be established in every nation.

Your servants are sent forth with the Good News of your Son Jesus and your Word is instilled within the hearts of believers all around the World. Let your Kingdom be demonstrated in our midst; your rule established among your people. Let the scoffers try to explain away your healings and miracles, let them be jealous of the changed lives and the hope and joy among those called by the name of your Son.

Some who say that they are ‘wise’ claim that your Word is on the ‘wrong side of history;’ that our faith is useless and our devotion to you is dangerous and needs to be eliminated. Rise up O God with healing in your wings and let your church arise from the ashes of our culture and fulfill its destiny. Let there be a revival among your people that cannot be denied, a power that cannot be overthrown by the enemy.

Let your Word be preached in every nation among all the peoples of the earth; let your Kingdom come and let your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven; your Word demonstrated in great power in this generation.

In Jesus name, Amen.
