Read the Psalm in your favorite version or in the following KJV and then join us in praying below:

43 Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation:

O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

2 For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me?

Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.  (KJV)

Our Father,

You are our refuge in a world that does not believe or respect your Word; by your Holy Spirit you send us your light and illuminate your truth daily. You guide our paths in the midst of scoffers who try to make us feel cast down and defensive in our own land.

We have been saddened because of the direction of our nation and the enemy has brought forth evil judges to take away our freedoms and ignorant opponents that call us immoral for following your Word and teaching.

O Lord, let your truth once more reverberate through this nation; let your Spirit hover over our cities and neighborhoods and let your Word go forth once more with effect among a people that are searching for what they do not know.

Let the believers in your Son be vindicated and let the enemy shrink back in defeat. Let your Holy Mountain descend in our midst; your Kingdom come among us and your servants surround our worship. Let the effects of your Kingdom be experienced once more bringing healing and miracles to a world that say there is no such thing among a people that look for the truth where it cannot be found.

Our hope is in you Lord and you are our salvation and our God. We will praise you in private and proclaim your name in public. Our joy wells up within us regardless for we will see the coming of your Kingdom in this life and for sure in the life to come.

In Jesus name,  Amen.
