Psalm of David

36 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.

4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

5 Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast.

7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.  (KJV)

Our Father,

Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. How precious is your steadfast love, O God!

All believers in your Son Jesus take refuge in the shadow of your wings and they feast upon the abundance of your creation and Kingdom. For you are the fountain of life and through your Son we receive your truth and by the counsel of your Holy Spirit we daily receive your Word and Wisdom.

How joyful are those who know you and your Son and have received your Spirit; how happy are they who continue in your steadfast love for theirs is the Kingdom of God in this life and the life to come.

But not so those who do not know you and rely upon their own understanding and are blinded by the enemy.  We pray for them that they might receive the truth in this life and come to know the Good News of your Son and your eternal Kingdom while there is yet day.

Let the great harvest continue around the world bringing light where there was once darkness; let there be a new Reformation among your people and let it be cross-generational.

The enemy has tried to destroy our churches, our marriages, our families, our neighborhoods, and our cities. Over-turn his work O Lord and bring revival once more in this land and let it begin in the churches which seem to be dead or dying; let it spread though the families and the neighborhoods, and then let it transform the cities.

Let your name be worshiped and praised once more from sea to shining sea.

In Jesus name, Amen.
