Read the Psalm in your favorite version or in the following KJV and then join us in praying below:

123 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.  (KJV)

Our Father,

Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for the contempt that is now being cast upon us because we believe in your proclamations. Our nation is changing and those who believe in your Word and teaching are now called bigots and our stand for pro-life and for marriage between a man and a woman is now called discriminatory by many and on the wrong side of history.

We cry to you for our nation; increasingly many powerful political leaders have come against your Word and those who believe in you and your teaching. We cry to you that our nation might be turned back to you; that revival and a new awakening might come once more to our land so that your Word and people might be respected once more in America.

Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: Let your Spirit hover over America once more and let your light shine in our cities and all across our nation while there is yet day.

In Jesus name, Amen.
