Join us in today’s devotion and prayer-
Read the Psalm in your favorite version or in the following KJV and then join us in praying below:
120 In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me.
2 Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. (KJV)
Our Father,
We pray for peace in a world that has none. Russians are on attack and the Chinese are rattling their sabers at Taiwan and preparing for conquest. Meanwhile Muslim terrorists are killing folks they don’t even know supposedly in your name. Churches are being burned and Christians are being martyred to further the cause of a prophet you did not send and a book you did not inspire.
We cry out for these lost souls that they may find the truth about your Son Jesus and your Kingdom. Let many of them be turned like Paul was on the road to Damascus. Your Kingdom message is to go to every nation and people; let it go to these perpetrators of evil also while there is yet day.
Most of Middle East and North Africa seems to be in darkness. Let the light of revival shine brightly in the dark places converting a divided and contentious people into peacemakers. Let the gospel of your kingdom be preached in their midst before the coming of that great day when the Lord comes in the clouds and establishes your Kingdom on the earth. Let miracles, dreams, visions, and healing be demonstrated in their midst in the name of the true God and His Son Jesus Christ.
Let your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Come Lord Jesus come and save your people and heal all of your creation.
In Jesus name, Amen.
