Read Malachi 4 in your favorite version or in the following KJV and then join us in praying below:
Malachi 4
4 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. (KJV)
Our Father,
We are looking for that day when Your Son Jesus comes again with healing in his wings; and the whole world will be changed for the better. No more poverty, or sickness, and justice will finally prevail in every nation and among all the peoples of the earth.
But before that day, Your Word says that there will be great calamities, including wars, earthquakes, plagues, and famines; as never before. But You have promised to be with us in the midst of it all; and we will continue to praise You name regardless of our circumstances looking and having faith in our salvation and eternal life to come which will be far better.
According to your Word, believers will never be abandoned but receive comfort and wisdom through your Holy Spirit until that day we are caught up to meet Your son Jesus in the air.
But before that day You have also promised to send us another prophet like Elijah and John the Baptist that will turn our hearts back to You and bring our families together in the faith like never before. We look and hope for that to be fulfilled soon since so many families are separated in our nation today.
Come Holy Spirit and bring the greatest revival and harvest of all times. Come soon Lord Jesus, Come. Our only hope is in You.
