82 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked?
Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations. (KJV)
Our Father,
Arise, O God, and judge the Evil One and his minions on earth; they rule the nations but you are ultimately in control and the day is coming when every nation will bow and every tongue shall confess the name of your Son Jesus as Lord of all.
But right now the evil one enslaves so many on the earth; and his false religions kill the faithful and make life miserable for the poor and create so many fatherless children. He has enticed so many with the idea that marching and violence will bring them justice. Lord let the truth prevail and let them receive real justice and revival under the banner of Jesus.
Arise, O God and bring justice for the poor and the fatherless; stand up for the rights of the afflicted and destitute. Please our Lord, rescue the weak and deliver them from the hands of the evil one. Empower your servants and church to combat the wicked adversary and fulfill your Word and promises.
Please Lord, bring forth political leaders and judges that will rule according to your Spirit and Word. Let justice prevail and let the poor and the fatherless receive the help that they need from the governments and the church. Let your church and your leaders rise up and fulfill their calling and destiny to reach out and bless those in need; and help release those who are bound by the enemy through addictions and false teachings and philosophies.
Arise, O God and bring revival to this land beginning in your church; let your Kingdom come down in our midst; let your Word go forth to every city and nation with signs and miracles confirming the message. Let your light shine and bring an end to the darkness and machinations of the evil one and his followers; bring forth your light in the midst of the very streets where they are coming against your people and your Word.
