Heth
57 Thou art my portion, O Lord: I have said that I would keep thy words.
58 I intreated thy favor with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
61 The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.
63 I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
64 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes. (KJV)
Our Father,
The earth, O Lord, is full of your mercy: teach us your statutes. Your Word is our daily portion; Your Son our eternal deliverer, your Holy Spirit our hope and delight in this life.
You have shown us favor all of our lives, most of the time undeserved. We are full of your steadfast love; help us to share it with others. Now we hasten to become faithful servants and fulfill all of the promises and destinies that you have instilled within us. Particularly the vision of a great harvest in this generation and a new awakening and revival in this nation.
We cry to you O Lord that we might have a part to play in your great work among the nations; that we might be a blessing to all those we come in contact with; a humble voice of wisdom to the young leaders coming on while we still have breath. Let us finish the race with signs following and an abundance of supernatural vigor that can only come from you.
In Jesus name, Amen.
